Attracting a global audience to your dining location

Creating an atmosphere that attracts a global audience is becoming a major priority for many restaurants and hotel dining halls across the U.S. As the world economy continues to stabilize, visitors from overseas are planning on making stops across the globe, with a special interest in American entertainment. According to Arne Sorenson, President and CEO of Marriott Hotels and Resorts, the rates of travel are expected to increase in the next few years.

“Leisure demand from abroad, fueled in part by the new Discover America campaign, will stimulate a new demand,” Sorenson told Hospitalitynet.org.

It is projected that more than 10 million visitors from China alone will travel to take in the sights, sounds and food of the U.S., with the demand for high-quality accommodations and dining on the rise.

In order to meet the demands of an international customer base, restaurateurs and hotel managers have begun to develop spaces that reflect the best of American values such as great quality, superior customer service and unparalleled design. Many restaurants are incorporating eco-friendly furniture made from reclaimed wood, aluminum and other recyclable materials. Urban street dining venues like sushi and ramen noodle restaurants use high stools and benches. Cluster seating can also be found in these locations and help promote community and interaction with other guests of the restaurant.

One of the occurring trends in the dining services is the application of an industrial aesthetic. Exposed brick, air ducts and steel beams have been in style for a few years and shows no signs of slowing down. Chairs with metal frames and minimally textured table tops work well with this kind of atmosphere. Rosseto Serving Solutions also offers a long list of products that match industrial interiors. Rosseto’s topping and beverage dispensers are made with sturdy stainless steel frames and high-end acrylic containers. The design perfectly complements the theme of industrial interiors without compromising style and function.
